About the role#
This is a temporary summer internship role within the Fixed Income Municipal Trading department. You will work under the supervision of Senior Analysts and Traders to support analytical projects and client-related tasks. This position is designed for students to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and market operations while working in a hybrid environment.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain spreadsheet financial models for your assigned industry.
- Draft new transaction proposals and assist in developing financial analyses, including revenue models, debt profiles, and cash flow analysis.
- Prepare client pitch books and other marketing or sales materials.
- Track market conditions and issuance to prepare regular reports and updates.
- Conduct research on existing and prospective clients.
- Manage administrative tasks including answering incoming phones and maintaining records.
- Work independently on projects while meeting delivery deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Economics, MIS, ISM, or a related field.
- A graduation date of December 2028 or later.
- Fundamental knowledge of investment concepts, securities industry practices, and Fixed Income procedures.
- Financial analysis, data modeling, and business case analysis skills.
- Basic proficiency in coding, SQL, HTML 5, and Python.
- Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
- Capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a hybrid team setting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

- Term: Summer 2027 (June 2, 2027, to August 13, 2027).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week.
