About the role#
This 10-week summer internship offers a hands-on introduction to the Human Resources department at Raymond James. You will work with teams to manage process improvement projects and gain exposure to HR service center operations. The program is designed for rising seniors who are interested in data-driven decision-making and HR administration. Successful completion of the program may provide opportunities to transition into a full-time role after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team with specific projects and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives.
- Create reports using HR metrics and conduct analytics on human capital data to identify trends.
- Maintain and compile reports from various databases.
- Participate in department staff meetings and attend relevant seminars.
- Operate standard office equipment and use required software applications to complete daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or Operations Management, with a graduation date of May 2028.
- Status as a rising senior.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, charts, and filters.
- Knowledge of HR administration, compensation, classification, and employee development.
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information.
- SQL skills are beneficial but not required.

- The role follows a hybrid work modality.
