About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work with the Talent Services Team to gain experience in recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations. You must commit to a 15-month duration, running from January 2027 through March 2028. During the school year, you will work approximately 20 hours per week, increasing to 40 hours per week during the summer. Your schedule will generally fall between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, based on your class schedule.
What you'll do#
- Perform daily administrative tasks and support various HR projects.
- Process data for new hires, internal moves, and staff separations.
- Assist with departmental reporting.
- Help HR Generalists with recruiting duties, including background checks, reference checks, offer letters, and pre-screen questionnaires.
- Coordinate recruitment for internship and high school teller programs.
- Serve as a backup for administrative tasks and email queues.
- Represent the company at job fairs and recruiting events, and contribute to social media campaigns.
- Teach portions of new hire orientation.
- Support sourcing and talent pool creation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a University or Technical College in a program such as Human Resources Management or Organizational Development.
- Ability to be bondable.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail for data entry and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Word, and Outlook.
- Comfort with learning new technologies and using digital devices.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Previous office experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is located on-site at the Corporate Center in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
- You must be able to work on-site throughout the school year and during breaks.
- New team members must attend Foundation Training at the Corporate Center from 9:00am to 4:30pm on the first Monday and Tuesday of employment.
