About the role#
As an Internal Communication Intern, you will support the Internal Communication Strategist in creating and deploying video, photo, and graphic assets. This role involves writing and editing content, producing multimedia, and helping shape internal messaging across the organization. You will work onsite at the Royal Credit Union Corporate Center in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
What you'll do#
- Write, review, and edit internal communications that are inclusive and aligned with company style.
- Create multimedia content, including photography, videography, audio, and graphics.
- Coordinate project logistics, such as scheduling shoots and managing production timelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop storyboards, creative concepts, and communication strategies.
- Edit and manage multimedia assets using tools like Filmora Wondershare and Canva.
- Maintain the digital asset library.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a university or technical college in a degree program such as Communication or Multimedia Development.
- Experience with videography, video production, script writing, and storyboarding.
- Proficiency with creative software like Canva and Filmora Wondershare, as well as Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to handle and maintain multimedia equipment responsibly.
- Strong writing, editing, and audience engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Location & details#
- Location: Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
- Schedule: This is a 12-month internship running from May 2027 to May 2028.
- Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours per week during the school year and 35-40 hours during breaks, typically Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
- Modality: This position is fully on-site.
- Compensation: $17.85 - $19.98 per hour.
