About the role#
This is a 12-month paid internship running from May 2027 through May 2028. You will work closely with the Business Intelligence and Analytics team to help business partners use data, analysis, and visualizations to drive organizational decisions. This role requires a commitment to working on-site at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire throughout the school year and during breaks.
What you'll do#
- Partner with IT mentors and business stakeholders to implement analytic solutions.
- Interview stakeholders, gather requirements, manage work items, and test dashboards.
- Support the delivery of visual reporting, infrastructure maturity, and user training.
- Manage development processes and document steps for future replication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT objectives and Data Catalog enhancements.
- Contribute to data governance policies while complying with the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Present findings to senior leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a University or Technical College in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis, architecture, management, modeling, visualization, and SQL.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or on a team.
- A drive to deliver accurate, high-quality work.
- Experience working or volunteering on a team or in a club while balancing school responsibilities.
Location & details#
- Location: Corporate Center, Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
- Schedule: Approximately 12-15 hours per week during the school year and 30-40 hours per week during the summer, typically between 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: $20.05 - $22.46 per hour.
- Training: New team members must attend Foundation Training at the Corporate Center from 9:00am - 4:30pm on the first Monday and Tuesday of employment.
