About the role#
This 10-week summer internship program offers an immersive experience within the Internal Audit department. You will work alongside professionals to evaluate risk management, control, and governance processes. The program includes a comprehensive orientation, professional development training, networking events, and a speaker series. Successful interns may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time role after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Support audit activities including risk assessment, control testing, and documentation.
- Partner with colleagues and control owners to evaluate the existing control environment.
- Perform data collection and analysis to meet audit program requirements.
- Assist in control design reviews and shadow associates conducting operational effectiveness testing.
- Identify, assess, and document control issues within assigned business processes.
- Test internal controls over financial reporting to support SOX 404 compliance.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes and market events that affect the business.
- Develop a working knowledge of assigned business areas and financial products.
What you'll need#
- Junior standing pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Risk Management, Finance, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Strong analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
- Capacity to work both independently and within a team.
- Effective communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality service.

- Location: Saint Petersburg, Florida.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 2, 2027, to August 13, 2027).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week.
