About the role#
This is a full-time Summer Associate position within the Fixed Income Sales and Trading division. You will work in a hybrid environment, supporting our team with financial modeling, market analysis, and client-facing materials. This role is intended for students graduating in December 2028 or later.
What you'll do#
- Build spreadsheet financial models for specific industries.
- Assist in developing financial analyses, including revenue models, debt profiles, and cash flow projections.
- Create and present marketing and sales materials.
- Help prepare client pitch books and transaction proposals.
- Maintain records of market conditions and issuance.
- Prepare regular reports for internal and external use.
- Answer incoming phones and operate standard office equipment.
- Interact with clients on a limited basis.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, MIS, ISM, or a related field.
- Graduation date of December 2028 or later.
- 4 to 6 months of general work experience.
- Understanding of fundamental investment concepts and fixed income procedures.
- Knowledge of financial markets, products, and business case analysis.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and data modeling.
- Basic technical skills in coding, SQL, HTML 5, and Python.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
- Capacity to work effectively within a hybrid team.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
