About the role#
Radiant is hiring an Electrical Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. You will work at our headquarters in El Segundo, California, to support the development of portable nuclear microreactors. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design, modeling, and analysis of electrical systems and components.
- Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of hardware and instrumentation.
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and nuclear engineering teams to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Contribute to technical reports, schematics, and documentation.
- Participate in lab and prototyping work.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of power systems, circuit design, or control systems.
- Familiarity with tools such as CAD software, MATLAB, Simulink, or SPICE is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
