About the role#
Prophet is a consulting firm focused on finding growth opportunities. Our 8-week Summer Associate Program teaches you our approach from the ground up. You will work across the firm on real client challenges, moving beyond observation to perform research, analysis, and strategy work. This role is designed to provide experience in what it means to be an Associate at Prophet, including the pace, collaboration, and project ownership.
What you'll do#
- Dig into industries, markets, and customer behavior to uncover insights.
- Use primary and secondary research to understand how to drive client transformation.
- Build business acumen and apply creative instinct to bring ideas to life.
- Synthesize interviews, data, and market scans into a clear point of view.
- Analyze data and shape hypotheses to build persuasive presentations and frameworks.
- Present your recommendations to internal leaders and clients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex challenges like brand, growth, and market entry.
- Use a full consulting toolkit, including AI, to innovate and amplify your outputs.
- Take ownership of your work, flag risks early, and maintain quality and deadlines.
- Contribute to firm growth and culture through proposals, office initiatives, and social events.
- Participate in team-based mentorship with a project coach and peer buddy.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior earning a BA or BS degree.
- Strong academic performance.
- Well-developed critical thinking, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
- Comfort using AI tools for research and synthesis, with a curiosity to explore new methods.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Business acumen and a passion for understanding company growth.
- A curious mind and an unrelenting commitment to reaching an answer.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and adapt to changing directions.
- Majors in Business Administration, Economics, or related fields are welcome.
