About the role#
Project 26 Pennsylvania is looking for a Campus Fellow at Lackawanna College to help organize students for the 2026 elections. You will build a community of youth advocates, encourage peer-to-peer outreach, and inspire students to vote in both the Primary and General Elections. This is a part-time, paid position focused on grassroots organizing on campus.
What you'll do#
- Promote civic engagement by talking directly with students.
- Conduct outreach through high-traffic canvassing, tabling, dorm visits, and class or club visits.
- Facilitate conversations about issues like education, climate, and jobs.
- Register students to vote.
- Plan and run student-centered events.
- Register Project 26 as an official student organization on campus.
- Coordinate logistics for organizing activities and events.
- Use campus networks to collaborate on voter registration drives.
- Assist with data entry tasks.

Location & details#
- This role is based in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and requires on-site work on campus.
- This is a part-time position with a typical schedule of 10 to 15 hours per week.
- You will be expected to work additional hours during peak periods, such as Welcome Week and the weeks leading up to election and registration deadlines.
