About the role#
Project 26 Pennsylvania is hiring a Voter Protection Fellow for the Fall 2026 semester at Millersville University. This part-time position supports non-partisan voter protection and student advocacy efforts. You will work to ensure student voices are represented in local election administration and help increase voter turnout on campus.
What you'll do#
- Attend and report on county meetings to understand how election administration affects your campus.
- Build direct relationships with county board of election offices.
- Recruit fellow students to serve as poll workers for the Fall 2026 General Election.
- Create opportunities for direct engagement between students and local election officials.
- Participate in voter registration drives and perform quality control on registration data.
- Develop and distribute campus-specific voter education materials.
- Monitor county election websites, social media, and press coverage to flag programming changes.
- Coordinate with other campus fellowship teams and check in regularly with Voter Protection leadership.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment as a student at Millersville University.
- Availability to work 10 to 15 hours per week.
- Experience voting on campus and talking to peers about civic issues.
- Creative skills in information sharing, design, and communication.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems.
- Interest in advocating for yourself and your peers to local government officials.
- Ability to travel by car, rideshare, or public transit when necessary.

- Compensation: $18 per hour.
