About the role#
Project 26 is seeking a Content Creator Fellow to join our team in South Central Pennsylvania. This role focuses on mobilizing Gen-Z voters through digital storytelling and campus outreach. You will work alongside our organizing team to create content that educates and engages young people for the 2026 elections. This is a paid, part-time fellowship.
What you'll do#
- Build social media followings and engagement across platforms.
- Film and edit short-form creative videos and YouTube content.
- Create static designs and graphics.
- Develop regional social media strategies to amplify key messages.
- Produce and post at least 8 pieces of short-form content every week.
- Mobilize students on campus and talk to them about the importance of upcoming elections.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment at a Pennsylvania college or university, or current residency in Pennsylvania.
- Comfort appearing on camera and speaking with students in person and online.
- Ability to create natural, organic-sounding content that avoids a scripted feel.
- Skill in condensing complex information into short, engaging formats.
- Strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- A habit of following current events, pop culture, and social media trends.
- Flexibility and a creative approach to problem-solving.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role based in Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, or Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
- The fellowship requires 15 to 20 hours of work per week.
- The work balance is approximately 70% online and 30% in-person.
