About the role#
Project 26 Pennsylvania is hiring a Voter Protection Fellow for the Fall 2026 semester. You will support non-partisan voter protection and student advocacy efforts at Elizabethtown College and within the surrounding county. This role focuses on ensuring student voices are represented in conversations with local election officials.
What you'll do#
- Attend and report on county meetings to understand how election administration affects your campus.
- Build relationships with county board of election offices.
- Recruit fellow students to serve as poll workers for the Fall 2026 General Election.
- Create opportunities for direct engagement between election officials and the campus community.
- Lead voter registration drives and develop campus-specific education materials.
- Monitor local election websites, social media, and press coverage to flag changes in programming.
- Perform quality control and spot checks on voter registrations.
- Coordinate with other fellowship teams and attend regular check-ins with leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Elizabethtown College.
- Availability to work 10 to 15 hours per week.
- Experience voting on campus and participating in issue-based groups.
- Ability to communicate with peers and develop creative information-sharing strategies.
- Interest in advocating for students to local government officials.
- Motivation to increase youth civic participation and voter turnout.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems.
- Access to transportation for travel as required by the role.

- Location: Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $18 per hour.
- Benefits: Travel stipend or mileage reimbursement for role-specific travel.
