About the role#
Project 26 Pennsylvania hires Campus Fellows to organize students and build political power for Gen Z. You will work directly with your peers to promote civic engagement and prepare voters for upcoming elections. This is a part-time, paid position based on campus.
What you'll do#
- Talk with students through tabling, door-to-door canvassing in dorms, and high-traffic area outreach.
- Facilitate conversations about issues like climate, jobs, and education to show how elections affect daily life.
- Register students to vote.
- Plan and host student-centered events.
- Register Project 26 as an official student organization.
- Coordinate logistics for campus activities, including event spaces and meeting reservations.
- Use your campus networks to grow support and collaborate with clubs or professors.
- Assist with data entry.
What you'll need#
- You are currently enrolled at Moravian University.
- You enjoy talking to new people and feel comfortable cold-approaching strangers.
- You have a strong interest in civic engagement and the political process.
- You are creative and resourceful when finding ways to reach your peers.
- You perform well in environments that change quickly.
Location & details#
- This role is on-site at Moravian University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
- The position is part-time, requiring 10 to 15 hours per week.
- You will work additional hours during peak periods, such as Welcome Week and the weeks leading up to voter registration deadlines and elections.
- This is a paid position.
