About the role#
Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role supports helicopter avionics platforms, specifically focusing on UH/HH-60 Black Hawk cockpit upgrades for domestic and international programs. You will work alongside system and software engineers to contribute to the development and verification of these aviation technologies.
What you'll do#
- Verify software requirements by creating and running functional tests in a laboratory environment using simulations and subsystem interfaces.
- Assist with requirements analysis, system design, and software requirements definition.
- Support integration and formal test processes for requirement verification.
- Collaborate with team members on technical exchanges and project tasks using established engineering processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
- Ability to work in a self-motivated manner and learn within a busy development team.
- Experience gained through coursework, projects, or previous internships is welcome.
