About the role#
This Hardware Engineering Co-op position focuses on critical infrastructure communications. You will apply your electrical engineering skills to hardware design for real-world applications. The role supports product development for the energy, oil and gas, mining, water and waste water, and transportation industries. You will work on-site at our manufacturing plant in Rochester, New York, during the Summer and Fall 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Apply academic knowledge to complete assigned engineering and technology projects.
- Develop hardware designs and contribute to project outcomes.
- Report progress and status updates to project management.
- Perform rough estimates of time required to implement features and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with team members and receive mentorship from experienced technologists.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time matriculated, nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Completion of at least two full years of college.
- Ability to work in the United States for an unlimited duration without sponsorship.
