About the role#
Join our team for a Winter 2027 internship focused on instrumentation. You will contribute to the Met Team and Met Cal project, specifically working on the automation of calibration carts (Cal-Carts) used for test bench calibration and in the Metrology Lab. You will also manage the KPI Control Board to track our progress.
What you'll do#
- Record instrumentation data from measurement chains in test benches.
- Document collected information in the metrology database.
- Configure calibration parameters for various measurement classes.
- Test and validate automated calibration procedures.
- Optimize visual instructions.
- Collaborate with team members across multiple areas of expertise.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Pursuing studies in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Automated Production.
- Understanding of physics and electrical concepts, including the ability to read electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with basic database principles.
- Working knowledge of English to read technical instructions, plans, and drawings.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure with shifting priorities.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- The internship runs from January 5, 2027, to April 23, 2027.
- This is a full-time, on-site role requiring presence 5 days per week.
- Employment is conditional upon a criminal background check and obtaining necessary clearances for handling controlled goods.
