About the role#
This internship is part of the Reliability and Maintenance Service supervision team in Longueuil. You will support the maintenance and repair of equipment used in engine parts production. The role requires full-time, on-site attendance from Monday to Friday, 6:30 to 15:00.
What you'll do#
- Manage employees within a unionized environment by assigning daily tasks and ensuring operations run smoothly.
- Act as a department resource person while applying collective agreement rules.
- Serve as an agent of prevention to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
- Develop and deploy strategies aimed at reducing non-quality.
- Lead projects related to facility layout, productivity, environment, and health and safety to drive continuous improvement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Canadian university in Engineering, Human Resources, or Operations and Production Management.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and the ability to work on-site in Quebec.
- Proficiency in basic office software, specifically Excel, Outlook, and One Note.
- A working knowledge of English to read technical instructions, plans, and drawings, and to communicate with international colleagues.
- Strong communication skills, autonomy, leadership, initiative, and diplomacy.
- Preferred experience includes manufacturing, lean manufacturing, SAP software, and change management.

- Location: 1000 Blvd Marie-Victorin, Longueuil, Quebec.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
