About the role#
Pratt & Whitney is hiring a Software Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Jupiter, Florida. Please note that U.S. citizenship is required for this role due to program access requirements.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the design, development, and testing of software features.
- Work alongside senior engineers to solve technical challenges.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team stand-ups.
- Build tools, automate workflows, and improve existing systems to help engineering productivity.
- Assist with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and documentation of solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or advanced degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related STEM major.
- Active enrollment status through the completion of the internship.
- Fundamental programming skills in at least one language such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Experience with version control systems like Git or GitHub.
