About the role#
Permian Resources offers a paid internship program for students to gain hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry. Interns work on projects across drilling, completions, production, facilities, and reservoir disciplines. Each intern receives guidance from a manager and a mentor. The program includes technical training, field tours, and networking events. You will present your work and internship experience at the end of the term.
What you'll do#
- Analyze drilling operations
- Plan and maintain facility infrastructure
- Improve production
- Examine completions procedures
- Evaluate oil and gas reserves
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or have completed a degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Environmental Engineering
- Current college level: Sophomore through Graduate student
- Expected graduation date in Spring or Fall of 2029
- Minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a team environment
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis
