About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in East Hartford, Connecticut. You will work on-site as part of a multi-discipline Integrated Product Team. The role requires U.S. citizenship.
What you'll do#
- Establish repair design requirements to ensure parts are safe, durable, and meet quality standards.
- Research component functionality and operating environments to develop strategies for returning damaged parts to service.
- Create technical documentation, including the sequence of operations for manufacturing sheets.
- Participate in the prototyping of new repairs.
- Manage engineering tasks to ensure they stay on schedule and within budget.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Experience with CAD software, such as Unigraphics or NX.
- Relevant experience gained through coursework, research, projects, or previous work.
