About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in East Hartford, Connecticut. You will work on-site as part of the structures team to support engineering efforts and assist with technical problem-solving. Please note that U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering tasks to meet shop and supplier delivery requirements.
- Perform hand calculations and finite element analysis to address quality notifications.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate technical solutions.
- Document and present your analysis through formal reports and presentations for management and customers.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- You must have completed at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required.
- Experience with Ansys is necessary.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, Teamcenter, Unigraphics, and classical analysis methods, as well as prior experience in the aerospace industry.
