About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. You will work on-site to support the development of test equipment within our aviation and aerospace component manufacturing operations.
What you'll do#
- Design structures, assemblies, and various mechanisms.
- Perform detailed design and drafting work in accordance with ASME Y14.5 standards.
- Support the procurement and testing of development hardware.
- Manage interactions with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Coordinate across functional teams to mature designs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or graduate degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Completion of your freshman year, entering at least your sophomore year by Summer 2027.
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
- Preferred experience includes Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5, Creo modeling and drafting, and Windchill configuration management.
