About the role#
Pratt & Whitney is hiring a Systems Engineer intern to work on the KC-135 platform. This is a full-time, paid, rolling internship based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. You will work on-site to support engineering processes and testing for this specific aircraft program.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply KC-135 systems engineering processes.
- Capture, define, allocate, verify, and validate system requirements.
- Support system tests in a lab environment during both informal and formal test events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features for the KC-135.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math.
- Active enrollment status through the completion of the internship.
- Prior experience with KC-135 platform systems.
- Ability to work on-site in Cedar Rapids for test events and environment updates.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
