About the role#
This is a full-time Systems Engineering internship at Pratt & Whitney for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role requires you to be a U.S. Person.
What you'll do#
- Support requirements capture from aircraft Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).
- Decompose and allocate requirements to appropriate domains within Collins Aerospace.
- Support the creation of test procedures to verify and validate requirements.
- Support the creation and completion of certification artifacts.
- Assist with customer questions and investigate issues related to software and hardware delivered to the OEM.
- Support investigations of root causes for issues found during flight test and in-service aircraft operations.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- You must be actively enrolled through the completion of the internship session.
- You should have an educational background covering requirements capture and definition, integration, and verification and validation testing.
