About the role#
Pratt & Whitney is seeking interns for the 2027 Systems Engineering program. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. You will join a project team to solve complex problems in aerospace and defense. This role requires U.S. citizenship.
What you'll do#
- Design, analyze, and prototype multi-domain system architectures.
- Create new algorithms in areas like positioning, navigation, timing, communication, and networking.
- Learn strategies for both free form thinking and disciplined application.
- Hone your oral and written presentation skills.
- Collaborate with project leadership and other interns.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in design, simulation, analysis, or implementation.
- Programming experience in languages such as C, C++, MATLAB, Python, or Bash.
- Experience working with circuits and components, including safe soldering and use of electronic test equipment.
