About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. You will work on-site as part of a team focused on cyber engineering. U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to program access requirements.
What you'll do#
- Defend and perform penetration testing on computer systems and networks.
- Reverse engineer software, malware, and system architectures.
- Practice strategies for both free form thinking and disciplined application.
- Improve your oral and written presentation skills while working with project leadership and other interns.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Practical experience with C, C++, or Python.
- Preferred experience includes knowledge of assembly language, reverse engineering tools like IDA, Ghidra, or BinaryNinja, security fundamentals, and network protocols.
