About the role#
This is a full-time COOP supervisor position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site at our Longueuil facility in Quebec, Canada, from January 5 to April 23, 2027. The shift runs Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 15:00.
What you'll do#
- Manage employees in a unionized environment by working closely with the supervisor.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and assign tasks.
- Act as a resource person for the department and apply the rules of the collective agreement.
- Serve as an agent of prevention and compliance with occupational health and safety rules.
- Deploy strategies to reduce non-quality.
- Lead projects related to layout, health and safety, environment, and productivity to support continuous improvement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Canadian university in Engineering, Human Resources, or Operations and Production Management.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and the ability to work on-site.
- Proficiency in basic office software, specifically Excel, Outlook, and One Note.
- A working knowledge of English to read technical instructions, plans, and drawings, and to communicate with international colleagues.
- Assets include communication and presentation skills, autonomy, leadership, initiative, and diplomacy.
- Experience in manufacturing, lean manufacturing, SAP software, or change management is an asset.

- Location: 1000 Blvd Marie-Victorin, Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site, 5 days per week.
- Status: Paid internship.
- Note: The selected candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check and obtain all necessary clearances for handling controlled goods.
