About the role#
Join the Digital Engine Services (DES) Ground Station team to work on engine diagnostic and performance monitoring. You will learn the complete process of handling flight data from onboard recorders (FAST/DCTU) to monitor engine health. This role involves improving data-processing software and standardizing documentation for internal processes.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to software requirement definitions and validation.
- Coordinate with developers throughout the software lifecycle.
- Support the commissioning of FAST/DCTU products and analyze data from initial aircraft installations.
- Validate and monitor in-service engine data for the Pratt & Whitney Canada fleet.
- Create and maintain procedure and training documents.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Canadian university for the duration of the internship.
- Pursuing a degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace, or computer engineering.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French, spoken and written.
- Ability to work on-site in Longueuil.
- Strong organizational skills, team spirit, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and Python are considered assets.

- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site, Monday to Friday.
- Requirements: Candidates must pass background checks and obtain necessary authorizations for handling controlled goods.
