About the role#
This is a 12-16 month internship based in Calgary. You will report to the Manager of Product Change and Development while working with departments like Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, and Finance. This role requires a commitment to safety and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.
What you'll do#
- Use the ERP system to build business cases for Product Changes and Options requests.
- Create Project Charter pages for handoffs between the Aftermarket and Product Change Management teams.
- Attend weekly meetings to capture requirements and track action items.
- Follow company processes and professional standards in all program activities.
- Represent the company in a professional manner with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies, including the use of required personal protective equipment.
What you'll need#
- A degree or diploma in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or project management.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong critical thinking skills and a metrics-focused mindset.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- The ability to work in diverse conditions, including temperature extremes, heights, and confined spaces.
- Physical ability to climb, lift up to 50 pounds, crawl, and balance.
- Flexibility to work shift rotations, including nights, weekends, on-call, or overtime.
