About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work within our plating and machining departments. You will support quality governance and data analysis while gaining experience in a production environment. This is a full-time, paid position that offers a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Lead a weekly meeting focused on quality metrics governance for the plating and machining departments.
- Facilitate two daily meetings to review quality issues occurring in production.
- Manage and maintain a database tracking non-quality production data.
- Analyze production data to identify and guide improvement projects.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in industrial, chemical, aerospace, or mechanical engineering, or programs in materials science, metallurgy, or automated production.
- Ability to work with autonomy and resourcefulness.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in English, as you will communicate with international suppliers, clients, and auditors.
