About the role#
The Operations Engineering Intern supports the team in maintaining the safe and efficient operation of bioprocessing facilities. You will work from the corporate headquarters in Sioux Falls, SD, while collaborating with teams across different locations. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the operations oversight of bioprocessing facilities.
- Analyze process data and create reports.
- Suggest improvements to existing processes.
- Develop implementation plans for continuous improvement projects.
- Travel to various facilities for training, project analysis, and meetings.
What you'll need#
- Junior or senior standing in an accredited Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering program.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
- Modality: On-site.
- Travel: Up to 25% travel is required for site visits and meetings, including occasional overnight stays.
