About the role#
Pioneering Medicines is looking for a Co-Op to join our Technical Operations team. You will work under the guidance of our scientists to help develop and evaluate formulations for biologics across various therapeutic areas. This role is open exclusively to current Northeastern University students.
What you'll do#
- Prepare biologics formulation vehicles.
- Create and screen multiple biologics and potential nucleic acid payloads.
- Develop processes and techniques to improve the yield and purity of drug products.
- Evaluate biologics and RNA formulations using analytical approaches.
- Examine drug product characteristics and stability for pre-clinical use.
- Document data and present findings to cross-functional team members.
What you'll need#
- Hands-on lab experience in chemistry, biochemistry, engineering, or a related field.
- A strong work ethic and a genuine passion for benchwork.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a team.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Effective and proactive communication habits.
- A sense of urgency and a willingness to learn new tasks.
- Experience with biologics or RNA formulations is preferred but not required.
Location & details#
- Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 to June 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, 40 hours per week, on-site.
- Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour.
