About the role#
We are looking for a motivated student to join our team for a co-op term focused on early-stage discovery for our Peripheral Artery Disease program. You will work directly with our Discovery and Molecular Biology teams to provide hands-on experimental support. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to mission-critical research and gain exposure to antibody discovery workflows, laboratory automation, and high-throughput cloning pipelines.
What you'll do#
- Execute routine molecular biology and discovery experiments to support target validation, hit identification, and early characterization.
- Perform antibody selection methodologies, including phage display-based biopanning.
- Conduct ELISA-based screening and various binding and characterization assays.
- Contribute to cloning projects and high-throughput cloning pipelines for antibody expression.
- Operate laboratory automation workflows and assist with general laboratory needs across multiple programs.
- Generate high-quality experimental data to support research milestones.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Northeastern University student.
- Foundational knowledge of molecular biology and protein biochemistry.
- Experience with standard wet-lab techniques and the ability to follow protocols accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across multiple projects.
- Prior laboratory experience in an academic or industry setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with phage display, ELISAs, Gibson or Golden Gate Assembly, and maintaining accurate experimental records is a plus.

- Location: Somerville, Massachusetts.
- Term: January 2027 to June 2027.
- Modality: Full-time, 40 hours per week, on-site.
- Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour.
