About the role#
This 10-week summer internship program offers exposure to the Agency Finance track within our Corporate and Institutional Banking division. You will explore the multifamily finance industry through our Fannie Mae DUS, Freddie Mac Optigo, and FHA lending platforms. Interns work directly with the relationship team and senior management to gain real-world experience in the deal-making process.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations for underwriting, including portfolio administration, periodic reviews, due diligence, and loan documentation.
- Assist with sales functions such as pre-call planning, client research, pre-screening, relationship reviews, and loan structuring.
- Apply your academic knowledge to support core group activities and drive business results.
- Participate in social learning, including networking with peers and business representatives, job shadowing, and community outreach.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program with junior status.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Preferred majors include Finance, Accounting, IT, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, Human Resources, Management, Communications, Business Law, Psychology, Logistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Actuarial Sciences.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work with flexibility and adapt to new information.
- A focus on self-directed growth and development.
