About the role#
As a Financial and Accounting Outsourcing Intern, you will support finance and accounting functions for middle market companies. You will work directly with clients on tasks like bill pay, billing, month-end close, and financial reporting. This role provides an opportunity to understand how finance functions operate within various businesses while learning to design efficient processes.
What you'll do#
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Perform month-end reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
- Review P&L statements to analyze client operations.
- Support technology implementations by documenting future processes and assisting with system configuration.
- Provide recommendations to improve client and internal operations.
What you'll need#
- Currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to adapt to change effectively.
- Experience with automated accounting systems is preferred.
