About the role#
As an Assurance Intern, you will work with diverse companies across various industries. You will join team engagements where you contribute to multiple parts of an assignment rather than just one. This role focuses on building professional relationships by learning the specific challenges and business models of our clients.
What you'll do#
- Learn the client's business, industry, accounting systems, and company values.
- Develop an understanding of the RSM audit approach and tools.
- Assess risks and evaluate the internal control structure of the client.
- Perform substantive tests and tests of internal controls to resolve reporting issues.
- Draft financial statements using prescribed formats.
- Identify client needs and expectations regarding GAAP and GAAS issues.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 90 credit hours.
- Current enrollment in a B.A. or B.S. degree program in Accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Ability to travel to assigned client locations.
- Access to reliable transportation for travel to client sites.
Location & details#
- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: $34 to $40 per hour.
