About the role#
We are hiring a Human Resources Student for the BC Region district within our Canadian Buildings sector. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Richmond, British Columbia.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to recruitment, training, professional development, and health and wellness initiatives.
- Assist with the planning and execution of career fairs.
- Coordinate training sessions and set up courses.
- Prepare for daily events, including scheduling meetings, maintaining action lists, and organizing interviews.
- Handle confidential correspondence, reports, and documentation with high accuracy.
- Manage various administrative tasks and projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program with a major in Human Resources.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all work assignments.
- A proactive approach to anticipating team needs and follow-up items.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism.
