About the role#
We are hiring Engineering/Technical Students for our Florida Buildings district in Jacksonville. This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity for students interested in a career as a Project Manager, Superintendent, Safety Professional, or Estimator. You will join us for 4 or 8 months starting in August 2026.
What you'll do#
- Assist Field and Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents with daily operations.
- Conduct safety and quality audits on site.
- Read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
- Log submittals, process RFIs, and prepare project reports.
- Assist with project surveying and site layout.
- Maintain field drawings, equipment, and records.
- Coordinate material deliveries, documentation, and subcontractor activities.
- Attend project meetings and prepare memos, letters, and meeting minutes.
- Support estimating tasks and solicit information from suppliers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Electrical Engineering, or Architecture.
- A valid Driver’s License and must be at least 18 years old.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Willingness to temporarily relocate to project locations as needed.
- Ability to pass a substance abuse test.
