About the role#
PCL Construction is seeking an Engineering Student for the Fall 2026 term to join the Canadian Buildings Division. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Sudbury, Ontario. You will work on challenging project assignments designed to support your professional growth within the construction industry.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate drawings and review trade quotes, including verifying material quantities, hours, and rates.
- Participate in project meetings and assist with deficiency logs and warranty issuance.
- Produce as-built drawings and maintain field documentation.
- Monitor workforce productivity and verify site conditions against project drawings.
- Assist with layout of site lines and grades using total station equipment.
- Maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM and AutoCAD software.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Industrial, or Computer Engineering, or Architecture or Business Administration programs.
- A strong desire to work in a construction environment.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet applications, and drafting software.
- Prior field construction experience is considered an asset.

- Compensation: $21.37 - $31.33 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
