About the role#
Pason is looking for a Software Developer Intern to join the Enterprise Applications team. This is a 16-month full-time internship running from May 2027 through August 2028. You will build skills in software design, data structures, and databases while working on projects that impact business operations. You will receive mentorship from the team throughout your term.
What you'll do#
- Build web applications to improve operational efficiency.
- Develop server-side and client-side applications to provide data to field staff.
- Provide analytics to help various departments make decisions.
- Write software using appropriate development methodologies.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Quality Assurance, and User Experience teams to deliver features.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements definition, high-level design, sizing, code reviews, documentation, and testing.
- Provide support to end-users.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in 3rd year studies in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related program.
- Programming knowledge in C# or Python.
- Experience with front-end web development frameworks.
- Scripting experience in PowerShell or Linux shell scripts.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal record check.

- The position operates in a hybrid environment, allowing for a mix of in-office and remote work.
