About the role#
This is a paid Summer 2027 internship based in Austin, Texas. You will join the Austin Software group to support our remote operated vehicle program. This role provides an opportunity to apply your classroom knowledge to real-world projects while working alongside mentors who help you meet your developmental goals.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the remote operated vehicle program.
- Perform C++ development and documentation tasks as assigned by the Engineering Lead and Software Development Manager.
- Interface with project team members and clients in both formal meetings and informal settings.
- Participate in team building, executive lunches, and facility tours.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program at an accredited university in DevOps, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Experience with C++, DevOps, GitHub, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a high-performance team on projects with shifting schedules.
- Must be a US citizen or legal Permanent Resident.

- Location: Austin, Texas.
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time position requiring daily attendance.
