About the role#
Oceaneering is hiring an AI Governance Intern to support the delivery and operation of Artificial Intelligence across the company. You will work with the AI Governance team to help operationalize the AI Management System and support responsible AI adoption at scale. This role provides exposure to AI risk management, governance frameworks, and emerging technologies like Microsoft Copilot.
What you'll do#
- Support AI system intake reviews and governance assessments.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of AI System Scorecards.
- Research AI governance frameworks, standards, and regulations.
- Analyze AI risks, controls, and governance documentation.
- Maintain AI inventories, governance records, and reporting metrics.
- Prepare dashboards, presentations, and status updates for stakeholders.
- Support AI literacy and communication initiatives.
- Participate in governance workshops and AI reviews.
- Document governance requirements and lessons learned.
- Assist with improvements to AI governance platforms and workflows.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Interest in AI, governance, risk, compliance, cybersecurity, or data governance.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or generative AI tools.
- Experience with Power BI, SharePoint, Excel, or Power Automate.
- Coursework related to technology, risk management, policy, project management, business, engineering, or legal studies.
