About the role#
As a Software Developer Intern for the DataHub team, you will join an agile group to build features for our core product. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, from initial requirements and system design to deployment and monitoring. This role involves collaboration with Product Management, Quality Assurance, and User Experience teams to deliver functional software.
What you'll do#
- Write code for complex frontend and backend applications using the DataHub technology stack, including ReactJS, Javascript, Java, and Python.
- Handle all stages of delivery, including estimating, code reviews, unit tests, and documentation.
- Use tools like Amazon Web Services and SpringBoot.
- Provide Tier 3 and customer support.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for issues found in the field or lab.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in your 3rd year of a Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering degree.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as ReactJS, Javascript, and Redux.
- Proficiency in an object-oriented language like Java, C#, or Python.
- Practical knowledge of web-based frameworks, SQL, relational databases, and Linux.
- Strong analytical skills, logical thinking, and a history of completing projects.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Successful completion of a criminal record check.
