    About the role#

    The Digital Photography Intern supports the photography workflow for Pacers, Fever, Boom, and Gainbridge Fieldhouse social channels. This role involves assisting with event coverage, managing media assets, and contributing to creative projects. You will work on-site in Indianapolis for approximately 20 hours per week during the Fall 2026 term.

    What you'll do#

    • Capture and edit photos during team practices and games.
    • Assist with coverage for Pacers, Fever, and Boom games, including nights and weekends.
    • Manage and organize the photo file library.
    • Handle photography equipment and log files.
    • Help develop creative photo concepts.
    • Cover practice and postgame media availabilities.
    • Transcribe quotes from players and coaches for web and video content.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a college or university as a junior, senior, or graduate student, preferably in Media Studies.
    • Proficiency with DSLR or mirrorless cameras and photography equipment.
    • Strong photo editing skills and familiarity with Adobe Cloud applications.
    • Ability to maintain professional, journalistic relationships with players and coaches.
    • Skill in working with others to solve problems and deliver projects on time with accuracy and professionalism.

    • Term: Fall 2026 (September through December).
    • Modality: On-site.
