About the role#
The Photography and Content Intern supports the team in capturing and managing visual assets for the Milwaukee Bucks. You will assist photographers with game night operations, content creation, and the organization of the team's photo archives. This position requires availability for a flexible schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do#
- Manage game night tasks such as card running, live photo ingestion, captioning, editing, and gear transport.
- Color correct images for print, web, and social media.
- Add metadata, tags, and names to images to ensure they are searchable for future use.
- Fulfill internal photo requests from departments like Marketing, Digital, and Sales.
- Maintain and organize photo archives by cataloging, scanning, and editing historical and current imagery.
- Capture and edit video content for secondary social media accounts.
- Assist the Creative and Content teams with daily needs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in college or university.
- A portfolio showing your photography and creative content work.
- Experience with Adobe Lightroom, Photo Mechanic, Photoshop, and Mac operating systems.
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and AfterEffects is helpful.
- Understanding of sports action, lifestyle, and portrait photography.
- Ability to work with ambient and studio lighting, including light modifiers.
- Knowledge of how metadata impacts asset searchability.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to changes and work effectively under pressure.
