About the role#
The Indianapolis Colts are hiring a Social Media Intern to support content creation, publishing, and coverage across our digital platforms. You will work with the social media team on content capture, platform monitoring, and gameday execution. This role provides hands-on experience in professional sports content production and digital storytelling. You will report to the Senior Manager of Social Media and collaborate on content initiatives, real-time coverage, and daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Support content creation and social media execution by assisting with capture, editing, and publishing preparation for Colts social channels.
- Assist with gameday and event coverage, including content collection and operational needs during games, practices, and team activations.
- Monitor trends, platform updates, and creator behaviors to surface opportunities for future content.
- Help maintain content libraries, organize assets, track deliverables, and assist with project coordination.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative discussions to gain exposure to social media strategy and digital audience development.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Basic understanding of photography, video editing, or graphic design.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of football and the NFL is preferred.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and gamedays.
- A portfolio of your work is required for consideration.

- This position is located at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- This is an on-site, paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
