About the role#
Atlanta Track Club is looking for a Marketing Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications. You will assist in the execution of marketing initiatives for our events and programs. The focus is on supporting brand growth through social media campaigns, digital marketing, and event promotion.
What you'll do#
- Act as a point of contact for vendors, members, and partners.
- Coordinate meetings and draft communications.
- Create content for social media channels and capture photos or videos at events.
- Assist with the development and execution of marketing plans, campaigns, and activations.
- Organize and present photoshoots.
- Complete entry-level graphic design projects and assist with merchandise fulfillment.
- Represent the organization externally.
- Support event operations, including pre-event tasks, on-site setup, registration support, and site branding.
- Work with sponsors to ensure their on-site needs are met.
- Present an after-action report summarizing your experience.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Marketing or Communications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Sound organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time well and meet deadlines.
- Analytical and problem-solving experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Location & details#
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, plus evenings and weekends for events.
- Compensation: $15 per hour.
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
