About the role#
The Digital Content Intern supports content creation for Pacers Sports & Entertainment social channels, websites, and apps. This position covers Pacers, Fever, and Boom teams, along with Gainbridge Fieldhouse. You will assist with game coverage, practice interviews, and day-to-day digital updates.
What you'll do#
- Assist with coverage during games, including nights and weekends.
- Edit photo and video content for various digital platforms.
- Write social media captions and transcribe press conference quotes.
- Curate photo galleries and video highlights for the team website.
- Shoot and edit video interviews from practices and games using smartphones or professional cameras.
- Create graphics and assist with general content ideation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a college or university program as a junior, senior, or graduate student.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to maintain professional relationships with players and coaches.
- Familiarity with WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere.
- Ability to work two to three days in the office each week, plus games on evenings and weekends.
- Majors in Communications, Journalism, or Media Studies are preferred.

- Location: Indianapolis, Indiana.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January through May).
- Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Approximately 20 to 25 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
