About the role#
This internship supports the Marketing and Brand department at Pacers Sports and Entertainment. You will work across three main areas: community outreach, game day operations, and office administration. The role provides hands-on experience in sports marketing and requires a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do#
- Manage the Fan Van calendar and research new event opportunities across Indiana.
- Travel to events in Indianapolis and surrounding communities to engage with fans.
- Set up and tear down fan engagement activities at the arena and the Morris Bicentennial Plaza.
- Coordinate game day DJs and other entertainers.
- Manage prize giveaway stations, distribute guest prize packs, and maintain inventory of promotional materials.
- Assist with administrative tasks and participate in marketing strategy discussions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior, senior, or graduate student.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration or Marketing.
- Previous experience in marketing, customer experience, or fan-facing roles.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and familiarity with social media platforms.
- Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, adapt to changing priorities, and accept feedback.
- A professional, friendly, and punctual approach to work.
